Looking for a Quality Engineer role where you can make a real impact?

We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to take ownership of quality activities across our manufacturing operation. This is a hands\-on role with real authority, offering the opportunity to drive improvements, lead investigations, develop quality systems, and work directly with customers, suppliers, and production teams.

You'll play a key role in reducing scrap and rework, improving processes, supporting new product introductions, and ensuring we continue to meet the high standards expected by our customers.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading customer complaint investigations and producing high\-quality 8D reports


• Driving root cause analysis and ensuring corrective actions are effective and sustained


• Managing and improving control plans, inspection processes and quality documentation


• Taking ownership of our CMM and wider metrology capability


• Supporting and maintaining our ISO 9001 Quality Management System


• Managing supplier quality, including overseas suppliers


• Supporting new product introduction activities


• Developing and supporting our Quality Inspector


• Working closely with production teams to reduce scrap, rework and waste


• Driving continuous improvement projects across the business

• Proven Quality Engineer experience within manufacturing or engineering


• Strong experience producing customer\-facing 8D reports


• Excellent root cause analysis and problem\-solving skills


• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD\&T


• Practical metrology experience, including CMM operation and programming


• Good working knowledge of ISO 9001


• Confidence dealing directly with customers and suppliers


• A proactive, self\-motivated approach with the ability to take ownership of issues through to completion


• Strong communication skills and a hands\-on attitude

• CNC machining or precision engineering environment


• Supplier quality management, particularly overseas suppliers


• PPAP, FAIR, APQP or FMEA


• Internal auditing


• ISO 14001 and ISO 45001


• ERP/MRP systems
