The Medical Needs and Hospital Education Service provides education for all children of compulsory school age residing in the Bradford Local Authority area who cannot attend full time school due to health and medical needs. Our provision is based at Owlet Road in Shipley, Airedale General Hospital and Bradford Royal Infirmary
We have a vacancy for an Art \& Design teacher and are looking for a qualified teacher to fulfil this role providing high quality teaching and learning across all key stages. A high level of knowledge, expertise and understanding of the Art \& Design curriculum is required along with providing related vocational and therapeutic sessions. The majority of the teaching will take place at Owlet Road and across the Bradford Local Authority.
The Code of Practice on the English language requirement for public sector workers, Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 requires that Councils ensure that all candidates applying for customer facing posts must be assessed in order to establish their fluency in English.
An enhanced disclosure check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be undertaken for this post.
