Overview
We are an independent mixed NHS/ Private practice in a very sought after area of Wirral. The practice has 4 surgeries. We have 2 dentist, therapist and a hygienist. The practice has been regularly involved with training dental nurse trainees.
Its an exciting opportunity for a qualified dental nurse to join a friendly practice team. We are looking for a enthusiastic committed candidate to work over 4\-5 days but negotiable.
Salary: Depending on experience
Starting Date: 3\-4 weeks, Flexible, will wait for right candidate,
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials prior to appointments.
- Sterilise and maintain dental instruments in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Provide patients with pre\- and post\-treatment instructions, ensuring they understand care procedures.
- Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Support administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and patient correspondence.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic clinical environment in compliance with infection control standards.
- Offer compassionate patient care, addressing concerns and answering queries professionally.
- Proven experience in patient care within a dental or healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good IT literacy, including familiarity with dental practice management software.
- Effective interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating professionalism at all times.
- Knowledge of current health and safety regulations relevant to dental practice. This role is suitable for motivated individuals eager to advance their career in dental healthcare while contributing positively to patient experiences and practice success.
