QC Administrator
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Quality team at our growing GMP manufacturing facility. This is a part\-time role, working approximately 25–30 hours per week. We can offer some flexibility in working hours for the right candidate. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Quality department through a broad range of administrative and quality\-related activities. Working closely with colleagues across multiple functions, you will help ensure compliance with GMP standards while contributing to the delivery of key quality objectives and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Quality department and wider business functions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and product release documentation.
- Review batch records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate sample receipt, logging, storage and despatch activities.
- Support the administration of quality systems, including:
- Change Controls
- Deviations
- Investigations
- Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs)
- Assist with internal and external audits and follow\-up activities.
- Maintain quality records and databases to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Liaise directly with customers to ensure quality requirements and service expectations are consistently met.
- Support the department in achieving key performance indicators and continuous improvement initiatives.
We are looking for a highly organised and detail\-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem\-solving. You will be comfortable working across multiple departments and building strong working relationships with both internal teams and external customers.
Ideally, you will have:
- Previous experience in an administrative, quality, or regulated manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of GMP, quality systems, or pharmaceutical/chemical manufacturing processes (desirable but not essential).
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
