About the role
------------------

Are you a strong project manager with a passion for providing access to heritage? Do you have experience working in the public engagement or cultural sector? If so, you could be the Project Manager for our new *Hidden Stories* *Project* and be part of Imperial’s dynamic Public Engagement Team. *Hidden Stories* project is supported by The National Lottery Heritage Fund and aims to preserve industrial heritage from the Great Exhibition of the Works of Industry of All Nations in 1851\. The project will research, find, capture, and share hidden stories from global majority groups linked to this landmark event. This pivotal role will coordinate the four project work streams, evaluation and reporting requirements, and all stakeholder communications.

What you would be doing
---------------------------

You will:

• Enable team members in the public engagament team, as well as freelancers,external agencies and cultural partners to collectively achieve the project goals.


• Apply fit\-for\-purpose project management tools, communications methods and financial processes with a high attention to detail.


• Coordinate project workstreams that encompass young people’s engagement and community engagement, supporting colleagues in Imperial’s Public Engaagment team to achieve their project deliverables.


• Deliver activities that share our project learnings with our project participants, but also across the many iconic cultural organisations in South Kensington, who we partner with on our Great Exhibition Road Festival.

We are looking for someone who has experience managing a project of a similar nature in the heritage or culture sector. You will be confident in applying fit\-for\-purpose project management tools and processes, reporting to funders and carrying out finance tasks in process\-orientated environments. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative with the ability to form relationships effectively and quickly across a variety of colleagues and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

This is a part\-time role (0\.4 FTE) offered on a fixed\-term basis for 18 months.
