HR Manager
Job Summary
A hospitality company requires an experienced HR Manager to support our businesses. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will have previously worked within a HR Management role with responsibility for the outlined responsibilities.
The role is full time primarily based in London where the company has two sites, however there may be the need to travel to other sites, one of them is in St Andrews, Scotland.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced HR professional, with a strategic focus, ability to manage multiple HR deliverables, have a strong collaborative approach and be insights driven. as the main role will be to help our organisation maintain strong people management practices by supporting workforce planning, hiring processes and compliance with HR procedures. The job typically involves coordinating HR activities and contributing to an engaged and well\-supported workforce.
Responsibilities
- Owning recruitment, onboarding and induction processes, including issuing of employment contracts and entering employee data into the company payroll system
- Conducting Right to Work checks and making sure all necessary documentation is completed and collected
- Advising managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
- Supporting employee relations and helping resolve workplace issues
- Supporting performance management and staff development processes
- Maintaining HR records, documentation and reporting
- Coordinating training, learning and development activities
- Monitoring absence, attendance and well\-being initiatives
- Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance in HR practices
- Supporting organisational change and workforce management
- Payroll processing and maintenance of employee records
- Understanding of working in a start\-up environment
- Understanding of business and management
- Understanding of current UK employment law
- Curiosity and a willingness to challenge organisational culture where necessary
- Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
- Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
- Strong phone, email and oral communication skills
- Fourth Hospitality \- prior knowledge important.
- Flow Hospitality – prior knowledge desirable
