General Manager – The Waterside Inn, Leigh ⚓️

We are looking for a powerhouse General Manager to take the helm at Leigh’s premier canal\-side venue. This isn't an "office job"—we need a leader who lives on the floor, loves the buzz, and knows exactly how to drive a business forward.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for the day\-to\-day success of The Waterside. From leading a fast\-paced team to ensuring every guest has a top\-tier experience, you’ll be the face of the venue.

What we need from you:

• Hands\-on Leadership: You lead from the front. Whether it's pulling pints during a rush or clearing tables on the terrace, you’re never "too big" for any task.


• Finance Minded: You need to be sharp with the numbers. We’re looking for someone who understands GP margins, labor costs, and stock control like the back of their hand.


• Experience: Proven experience managing a high\-volume food and drink venue.


• The Vibe: You’re fun\-loving and energetic. You know how to keep a team motivated when the pressure is on.


• Sense of Humour: Essential. If you can't have a laugh while working hard, this isn't the place for you.


• Flexibility: This is hospitality—weekends, evenings, and holidays are when we shine, so you’ll need to be right there with us.
