Boots Opticians has just had its 4th record breaking year. Our property team are delivering more new stores and store interventions that ever and our team is expanding.

We therefore require a Property Administrator to help support the scheduling, delivery and management of our property and maintenance strategy

What you’ll be doing

As a Property Administrator, you will play a crucial role in the administration of Investment Requisition papers and project management of various schemes. You will collaborate closely with our Boots UK \& Hearingcare property teams, contractors, suppliers, and maintenance teams, ensuring that our stores operate smoothly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a £1m pa budget for Boots Opticians store\-based maintenance.

  • Ensure the safety of store teams and customers while minimising trading interruptions.

  • Assign and order maintenance work to contractors effectively.

  • Oversee in\-year clinical equipment planning, spend, delivery, and maintenance.

  • Manage the supply chain for furniture orders.
What you’ll need to have (our must\-haves)
  • Experience within an optical practice setting or with optical equipment

  • Significant experience in administrative roles with a substantial financial impact.

  • Strong financial understanding and commercial acumen.

  • Proven project management experience.

  • Experience working with stores and support office teams.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently at pace.

  • Tactical thinker capable of critical analysis and delivering solutions quickly.

  • Ability to travel across the UK when needed

  • Strong relationship\-building skills, both internally and externally.

  • Exemplary communication skills.
