Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail\-oriented Project Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the planning, installation, and maintenance of solar and other energy systems, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and safely. Your proactive approach will help us deliver high\-quality renewable energy solutions that contribute to our environmental goals.
Duties
- Conduct an initial site survey and assist with the management of installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of solar power equipment and systems
- Support project teams in preparing sites for installation activities, including site assessments and safety checks
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to document progress, issues, and resolutions
- Maintain accurate records of all site activities, equipment inventories, and safety procedures
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all project phases
- Communicate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients to coordinate tasks and resolve issues promptly
- Proven experience or strong interest in renewable energy or electrical systems
- Relevant certifications or training in electrical work or renewable energy technologies are required (NVQ level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent required)
- Background in Project Management or renewable energy installation
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics is a plus
- Strong problem\-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Physically capable of performing site inspections and manual tasks in various weather conditions
Pay: £27,000\.00\-£40,000\.00 per year
