We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join our team.

As HR Manager, you will play a key role in leading our HR function, supporting managers across the charity with professional advice, guidance and practical solutions. You will oversee day\-to\-day HR operations, contribute to the development of our people strategy, and help drive positive organisational change through initiatives focused on wellbeing, performance management, employee engagement and policy development.

This role is ideal for a confident HR professional who enjoys variety, problem\-solving and building strong working relationships. Your expertise will help develop capable and confident managers, ensure fair and inclusive employment practices, and support a positive culture across the organisation.

Salary and Hours


  • Salary: £23\.06 per hour/£41969\.20

  • Hours: 35 hours per week (part\-time hours considered)

  • Hybrid Working

  • Weeks per Year: 52

  • Contract: 6 months fixed term

Requirements:

About You
-------------

We are looking for someone with significant HR management experience and a strong understanding of employment law, HR policy and best practice.

You will bring excellent leadership skills, the confidence to manage complex employee relations matters, and the ability to provide clear, pragmatic advice to managers and colleagues.

Essential Requirements


  • Level 5 CIPD qualification (or equivalent)

  • Good literacy and numeracy skills

  • Experience of managing and developing people

  • A calm, professional and considered approach to employee relations

  • Experience of HR systems and handling confidential employee data
Experience within the care, education, or voluntary sector would be advantageous, although it is not essential.

You will be someone who works with integrity, maintains strict confidentiality, and demonstrates a commitment to Henshaws' values at all times
