Project Coordinator
AAbout REFYT
REFYT Ltd is a growing retrofit contractor and consultancy delivering large\-scale decarbonisation and energy\-efficiency projects. We work with local authorities and other partners to improve the energy efficiency of homes through government\-funded programmes, including Warm Homes: Local Grant.
Our team works across surveying, design, retrofit coordination, installation, compliance and operations. As we continue to expand, we are looking for motivated and capable people to join us.
The Role – Project Coordinator
We are looking for two organised and proactive Project Coordinators to support the planning and delivery of our Warm Homes and wider retrofit programmes.
Retrofit is a specialist industry, so we do not expect applicants to already have direct experience in the sector. We are more interested in finding people with strong transferable skills, the right attitude and a genuine willingness to learn. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
You will work closely with our operational, technical, construction, resident liaison and compliance teams to help move properties through each stage of the project—from surveys and design through to installation, handover and completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project schedules and help ensure works are completed on time.
- Track properties through surveys, design, approvals, installation and completion.
- Communicate with residents, surveyors, contractors, clients and internal teams.
- Arrange appointments, property access and installation dates.
- Keep project systems, records and documentation accurate and up to date.
- Monitor progress and raise delays, access issues or other concerns with management.
- Support the preparation of project updates and progress reports.
- Help coordinate materials, equipment and workforce requirements.
- Assist with quality, compliance and health and safety documentation.
- Support project handovers, resident sign\-offs, snagging and close\-out.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Communicates clearly and confidently with different people.
- Is proactive, reliable and comfortable taking responsibility.
- Pays close attention to detail and maintains accurate records.
- Can solve problems and remain calm when plans or priorities change.
- Is confident using Microsoft Office, spreadsheets and digital systems.
- Works well as part of a team in a busy environment.
- Is interested in learning about construction, retrofit and energy efficiency.
Education
A qualification in project management, construction, sustainability, business administration or a related subject would be beneficial but is not required. Relevant transferable skills, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn are equally important.
