Location: Hereford
Job Type: Full\-time, Permanent 38\.75 hours/week
Hours: 3 rotating shifts, including night shift 1:45pm\-10pm / 9:45pm \- 6am / 5:45am \- 2pm

About the role

We are looking for a reliable, organised and practical Production Materials Coordinator to support our busy manufacturing team.

This is a hands\-on role where you will make sure our injection moulding presses have the correct materials, in the right quantities, at the right time. You will play a key part in keeping production running smoothly by preparing materials for upcoming jobs, moving stock accurately on our WinMan system, supporting material traceability, and helping resolve material shortages on the shop floor.

This role would suit someone who enjoys being active, takes pride in accuracy, is confident using basic computer systems, and understands the importance of keeping production moving.

What you’ll be doing

You will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing the upcoming production schedule and preparing the correct materials for each production run.

  • Picking materials from stores and delivering them to the correct production or drying areas.

  • Moving materials physically and accurately transferring them on the WinMan system.

  • Supplying materials to press\-side day bins to help avoid production delays.

  • Returning excess material at the end of production runs, both physically and on the system.

  • Helping investigate and resolve material shortages raised by the technical team.

  • Supporting material batch traceability by checking paperwork, machine tags and WinMan records.

  • Removing finished goods, WIP and pallets from production areas and scanning them to the correct locations.

  • Regrinding sprues where required, including weighing, bagging, labelling and returning material to stores.

  • Keeping production areas clean, safe and well organised.

  • Using equipment such as balers and granulators safely.

  • Completing clear shift handovers to support the next shift.
The role also includes general production support and housekeeping duties as required.

What we’re looking for

You don’t need to know our systems from day one, but you do need to be accurate, dependable and willing to learn.

You’ll need:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing, production, stores, warehouse or materials role.

  • Good attention to detail.

  • A practical, hands\-on approach.

  • Confidence using computers and basic systems.

  • Good spoken and written English.

  • The ability to read instructions and follow procedures accurately.

  • An understanding of why traceability, stock accuracy and housekeeping matter.

  • The ability to lift and move materials safely.

  • Willingness to work 3 rotating shifts, including nights.
Desirable but not essential
  • Experience using WinMan or another MRP/ERP system.

  • Experience in injection moulding, plastics, medical manufacturing or regulated production.

  • Experience working to ISO 9001 or ISO 13485 procedures.

  • Experience using a granulator or baler.
Why join us?

This is an important role in a small, supportive manufacturing team. You will have a direct impact on production performance, quality and customer delivery by making sure materials are available, controlled and traceable.

You’ll be joining a business where accuracy, teamwork and reliability really matter.
