Product Development Intern
The MC\-1 started as a bed frame. It's becoming a system. We're expanding carefully — new components, new materials, new configurations — and every decision matters.
We're looking for a Product Development intern to work directly alongside Michel Charlot, the designer behind the MC\-1\. This is a rare opportunity to be inside the design and development process of a product that is already sold across Europe and the US — and to help shape what comes next.
The role sits at the intersection of design thinking and manufacturing reality. You'll research materials and suppliers, support development of new components, and help us make good decisions grounded in both aesthetic and production constraints.
What you'll work on
- Researching materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes
- Supporting supplier identification and evaluation — particularly in Europe
- Coordinating with Michel Charlot on new component development
- Documenting specifications, samples, and development timelines
- Analysing existing product construction to identify improvements or extensions
- A background in industrial design, architecture, materials science, or a related field
- An appreciation for how things are made — not just how they look
- Rigorous and detail\-oriented, but also able to see the bigger picture
- Comfortable working directly with a designer and taking initiative
- Location: Copenhagen (in\-person)
- Start: August or September 1st
- Duration: 3–6 months
- Stipend: €200–950/month based on commitment and contribution, plus a performance variable at the end of the tenure
Løn: 1\.500,00kr. \- 7\.000,00kr. pr. måned
Arbejdssted: Delvist fjernarbejde i 1715 København
