Product Data Coordinator - Supply Chain

We are looking for a highly organised and detail\-focused Product Data Coordinator to join our Supply Chain Team.

This is a key role within our retail supply chain function, responsible for maintaining accurate product, supplier and commercial information across a large and fast\-moving product database. Working closely with Supply Chain, suppliers and stores, you will manage information throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring data is accurate, up to date and available when required.

The role would suit someone with experience in a retail supply chain, product administration or similar environment who enjoys working with data, solving problems and ensuring information is accurate and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate product, supplier, costing, pricing and promotional information across company systems.


• Manage product information throughout the product lifecycle, including new product setup and ongoing maintenance.


• Liaise with suppliers to obtain and resolve product, pricing and delivery information.


• Maintain accurate supplier and product records and identify discrepancies or missing information.


• Ensure product information required for packaging, websites and other retail channels is complete and accurate.


• Support stores with product, pricing and promotional queries, investigating issues and working with relevant teams to resolve them.


• Maintain and develop Excel spreadsheets and reports to support Supply Chain activity.


• Analyse product and inventory data to identify discrepancies and support effective stock management.


• Investigate data or system issues and ensure corrective action is taken promptly.


• Support systems testing, new product processes and system changes.


• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, processes and ways of working.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will be organised, analytical and commercially aware, with a strong interest in retail and an understanding of how accurate product and supplier information supports the wider business.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience in a retail Supply Chain, Product Administration or similar role, preferably within a Head Office environment.


• Experience managing large volumes of product, supplier or commercial data.


• An understanding of the retail product lifecycle, including product setup, costing, pricing and promotions.


• Strong numerical and analytical ability, with excellent attention to detail.


• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, data manipulation and working with large datasets.


• Experience working with databases, product management or ERP systems.


• Excellent organisation and time\-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.


• Strong communication skills and confidence liaising with suppliers, internal teams and stores.


• A proactive approach to identifying discrepancies, investigating problems and finding practical solutions.


• The ability to take ownership of tasks and see issues through to resolution.


• Experience of systems testing or implementation would be advantageous.

A qualification in Business, Supply Chain, Retail, Data, Purchasing or a related discipline would be advantageous, but relevant retail experience will be equally valued.
