Based in Dublin, Rope Dock is Ireland’s leading specialist in high\-performance custom marine rigging, premium ropes, sailing equipment, and custom SeaDek installations. We aren't just a shop; we are passionate sailors and technical experts helping the Irish marine community get the absolute most out of their time on the water.

Because we serve our clients both at our Ballymount showroom and through our specialized digital tools (like our online custom Halyard \& Sheet Wizard), we are looking for an Omnichannel Sales Associate to help us deliver a seamless, world\-class experience. Whether a customer is ordering custom lines from their phone or stepping into our shop to look at premium deck hardware, you will be the key link that ensures they get exactly what they need to set sail.

Role Overview

Are you a people person who loves the energy of retail but also enjoys navigating apps and online trends? As an Omnichannel Sales Associate, you won't just be standing behind a cash register. You will be the face of our brand across multiple touchpoints managing the in store experience while proactively capturing digital revenue and ensuring a seamless shopping experience whether our customers find us online, on their phones, or on our sales floor.

Key Responsibilities

• In\-Store Engagement: Welcome customers, understand their needs, and help them find products on the floor.


• Digital Assistance: Support customers shopping online via live chat, email, or in store.


• Seamless Fulfillment: Efficiently process online orders and ship\-from\-store inventory.


• Clienteling \& Follow\-up: Build long\-term relationships by following up with customers digitally about new arrivals or personalized recommendations.


• System Savviness: Navigate our Point of Sale (POS) system, inventory management software, and e\-commerce platform daily.

• An Adaptable Communicator: You transition easily between face\-to\-face conversations and written digital chats.


• Tech\-Fluent: You pick up new apps, retail software, and digital tools quickly (experience with Shopify, Salesforce, or retail POS is a huge plus). Comfortable capturing clear imagery or short videos of products in store to feed onto socail media channels.


• Problem Solver: If an item isn't on the shelf, you know how to search our online network to save the sale.


• Flexible: Comfortable working a dynamic schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and holidays.


• Experience: 2\+ years in retail minimum, customer service, or e\-commerce fulfillment.
