Process and Production Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a food production biased maintenance engineer who is confident to work on a variety of process equipment and site services. This is a hands on role working with basic mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment
Duties
Identifying and solving process issues on the production floor
Ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently
Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and ensuring that machinery operates reliably
Provide training to operators on how to run equipment
Performing aspects of the PMP under the guidance of the Engineering Manager
Experience
- Proven experience in process engineering or production engineering within a food manufacturing environment
- Working within a BRC accredited factory
- Knowledge of the following equipment is helpful: belt conveyors, automatic packing machines, pumps, printers and coders, air compressors, robots and ice cream freezers
- A very basic understanding of refrigeration systems, ammonia compressors and industrial boilers would be ideal although we can provide training to fill any gaps
Sunday 10pm \- 4\.30am
Monday \- Thursday 6pm \- 2\.30am
Pay: £48,000\.00 per year
