About the Role
The purpose of the role is to manage the largely growing consolidation network in Castle Donington. You will play a key part in the success of our network by ensuring that our customers are serviced to a high standard so that growth can continue. You will also play a key role in streamlining the current operation to improve efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
· Ensure 100% accuracy end\-to\-end for inbound and outbound pallets
· Support the transition into systematic receiving and loading
· Support the transport team in executing the daily schedule with 100% DOT and deal with any in\-day issues
· Positive KPI reporting to customers and proactive communication on any in\-day issues or delays
· Returns and/or rejections dealt with within 24 hours
· Responsible for ensuring the dispatch team have all required paperwork, and returning paperwork is processed within 48 hours
· Sign off next day collection, trunking and delivery plan
· Oversee completion of daily and weekly trackers in full, with accurate information
· Act as operational lead in the planning and set up for new customer onboardings
· Continuous operational improvement: Identify inefficacies in current ways of working, root cause, plan to fix and implement
Essential Criteria
· Strong understanding of the Primary Network flow
· Confident at using Qargo or willing and able to complete Qargo training quickly
· Excel skills – preferred
· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
· Customer focussed approach, with a commitment to mainlining high service standards
· Able to work collaboratively with transport, warehouse and customer service teams
· Proactive when reacting to problems and foreseeing any potential problems
· Confident at making decisions and escalating issues appropriately
· Reliable
Working Arrangements
Full\-time role based in Castle Donington
Hours 07:30\-16:00 / 45 hours Mon\-Fri with weekends when the business requires.
Pay: Up to £40,000\.00 per year
