Podiatry Administrator/Sarum House Main Receptionist (INTERNAL)
This is a dual role, the post holder will be responsible for efficient and effective administrative support to the Podiatry Service whilst giving reception support to colleagues within Sarum House Health Centre. The post holder will provide a customer focused service for all patients and visitors attending or passing through the Sarum House Health Centre.
You will be dealing with all patient phone and email enquiries, inputting clinical data onto the Maxims system and providing supporting the clinical teams. Sarum House is the administration hub for the Podiatry Service. Your role will provide the administration of the podiatry outpatient service
Manage and upload new referrals for Podiatry to MAXIMS, ensuring urgent referrals are prioritised, for both clinic patients and home visits in a timely manner.
Booking new and follow up appointments/home visit appointments and all processes associated with this for Podiatry patients from across Herefordshire within agreed timescales and ensure all available appointment slots are fully utilised. In all Podiatry locations across all sites.
Highlight to the Podiatry Clinical Manager/ Podiatry Admin Lead any issues with appointment lead times and clinic capacity, across all podiatry sites across Herefordshire.
Manage the Outpatient Future appointment worklist and the PIFU Future appointment worklist
To provide reception cover for Sarum House Health Centre
Maintain a safe working environment and assist with maintaining building security at Sarum House Clinic, which will involve locking up and, if last person in building, setting the alarm.
Prepare the building for the day, prepare the waiting room, and unbolt the front doors / main entrance.
Support the safe running of the building and escalate any concern to the podiatry manager
