About the Role
KEKI Building Services Ltd is looking for an experienced Plumbing, Heating \& Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team.
The role will involve working across a mixture of commercial, retail, healthcare, industrial and domestic projects, carrying out installation, maintenance, remedial and small project works.
This would suit a practical, reliable engineer who is comfortable working independently, dealing with clients on site, and taking ownership of works from start to completion.
Main Duties
The role will include:
- Commercial and domestic plumbing works
- Heating system installation, repair and maintenance
- Mechanical services installations
- Plantroom installations and modifications
- Pipework installation, alterations and repairs
- Hot and cold water services
- ASHP / heat pump pipework and associated works
- Heat pump cylinder installations
- Sanitaryware installation and replacement
- Maintenance and remedial works
- Fault finding and repair works
- Working on live sites including hospitals, retail units, commercial buildings and distribution centres
- Completing basic paperwork, site reports and job sheets
- Working safely and professionally in line with company procedures
The ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in plumbing / mechanical services
- Ideally 5\+ years’ experience
- Good practical knowledge of heating and hot water systems
- Experience working on commercial sites would be an advantage
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good problem\-solving skills
- A professional attitude when dealing with clients and other trades
Required / beneficial:
- Fully qualified Plumbing / Mechanical Engineer
- NVQ / City \& Guilds or equivalent plumbing qualification
- Unvented hot water qualification — advantageous
- Gas Safe — advantageous
- Commercial gas — advantageous
- ASHP / heat pump experience — advantageous
- F\-Gas Category 1 — advantageous
- VRF / VRV experience — advantageous
- IPAF / PASMA — advantageous
- CSCS / JIB / Skillcard — advantageous
- Full UK driving licence
