Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Plumber \& Gas Safe Engineer to join our professional team. The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of plumbing, heating and gas\-related works associated with kitchen and bathroom installations, as well as maintenance and repair projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation of plumbing systems and fixtures, including bathrooms, kitchens, showers, baths, toilets, taps and associated pipework.
- Carry out gas appliance installations, servicing and repairs in accordance with Gas Safe regulations.
- Diagnose and repair plumbing and heating faults efficiently and professionally.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on plumbing and gas systems.
- Install, modify and repair hot and cold water systems, drainage systems and heating pipework.
- Identify and repair leaks, blockages and system faults.
- Ensure all work complies with current Scottish Building Standards, Water Regulations and Gas Safety requirements.
- Work closely with kitchen and bathroom fitters to ensure projects are completed to a high standard and on schedule.
- Maintain accurate records and complete any required certification and documentation.
- Uphold excellent health and safety standards at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
Essential
- Qualified plumber with relevant industry certifications.
- Qualified gas safe engineer with relevant industry certifications.
- Proven experience in domestic plumbing and gas work.
- Strong fault\-finding and problem\-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Experience working on kitchen and bathroom installation projects.
- Additional qualifications in heating systems, renewable technologies or unvented hot water systems.
- Experience mentoring apprentices or junior tradespeople.
- 37\.5 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional Saturday work may be required, paid as overtime or provided as time off in lieu
- Competitive salary (dependent on experience) £28000 \- £32000
