Role Overview

As a PLM Consultant Apprentice, you’ll begin your journey into the world of technical support by learning how to assist customers with PTC software. Under the guidance of experienced team members, you’ll develop your skills in troubleshooting, problem\-solving, and customer service. This is a hands\-on learning role where you’ll gain valuable experience with industry\-leading tools like Windchill, Creo, ThingWorx, and Codebeamer.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in providing technical support via phone, email, and remote sessions


• Learn to diagnose and resolve software issues with guidance from senior engineers


• Collaborate with internal teams to understand and help resolve complex problems


• Stay curious and keep learning about PTC products and updates


• Help maintain support documentation and contribute to knowledge base articles


• Support the improvement of support processes and tools


• Deliver friendly and helpful service to ensure customer satisfaction

• Strong listening and communication skills


• Some background or interest in one or more of the following:


• IT


• Mechanical or industrial design


• Engineering or manufacturing


• Basic understanding of PTC products is a plus, but not required


• Any previous experience in a support or customer\-facing role is beneficial

• Willingness to work towards relevant certifications (e.g., PTC, IT support)
