Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant to support our pharmacy team in delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will assist with dispensing medications, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth pharmacy operations. Duties
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Prepare medication labels and organise stock for easy retrieval
- Ensure all dispensed medications comply with legal and safety standards
- Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient information
- Support in managing inventory levels and restocking shelves as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by answering patient queries courteously
- Support with medication administration under supervision where applicable
- Uphold strict confidentiality of patient information in accordance with data protection regulations
- NVQ 2 Dispensing Assistant qualification
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to minimise errors
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
- Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast\-paced environment
- Compassionate approach towards patient care and support
- Basic IT skills for managing electronic records and pharmacy systems
Pay: From £12\.71 per hour
