Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional assistance with their pharmacy purchases and inquiries


• Support pharmacy staff by organizing medication stock, checking inventory levels, and restocking shelves as needed


• Assist with medication administration procedures under supervision, ensuring proper storage and labeling of pharmaceuticals


• Provide accurate information about over\-the\-counter products, health supplements, and basic medication usage instructions


• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the pharmacy area to uphold safety standards and a welcoming environment


• Help manage patient records, process prescriptions, and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information


• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to deliver excellent patient care and support medication management efforts

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a pharmacy assitant or in a related healthcare role is preferred but not mandatory


• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy operations is highly desirable


• Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills


• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail


• A proactive attitude with a desire to learn about pharmaceutical products and healthcare services


• Basic computer literacy for managing records and processing transactions
