Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about providing exceptional customer service and supporting pharmacy operations. Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with their enquiries, ensuring a positive experience.

  • Manage stock levels by receiving deliveries, organising shelves, and conducting regular inventory checks.

  • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and customer interactions using IT systems.

  • Provide administrative support such as data entry, filing, and processing transactions at the till.

  • Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards.

  • Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth operations.

  • Assist in promotional activities or health campaigns as required.
Requirements
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable manner.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Basic IT literacy with experience using computerised systems or pharmacy software preferred.

  • Leadership qualities to support team members when necessary and handle customer queries confidently.

  • Organised with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in medication handling and record keeping.

  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also demonstrating initiative independently.

  • Previous experience in a healthcare or retail setting is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided for motivated candidates.

  • A professional attitude with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory standards.
