We're now looking for a passionate and proactive People Team Advisor to join our award\-winning team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys employee relations, thrives on building relationships, and wants to play a key role in supporting a growing and ambitious business.
As a People Team Advisor, you will be a trusted partner to managers and team members across the business, providing professional, pragmatic and commercially focused advice on all aspects of employee relations and people processes. Working closely with the Head of People and the wider People Team, you will support managers throughout the employee lifecycle. You'll handle a variety of employee relations cases, support the delivery of our People Strategy and contribute to initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, wellbeing, communication and organisational culture.

As a People Team Advisor, you will help ensure managers have the support they need to lead effectively, employees receive fair and consistent treatment, and the business continues to maintain the positive culture that has earned external recognition and Great Place to Work certification.
Day to day, you will be:
- Support the Head of People with employee relations tasks and manage a range of employee relations casework.
- Support managers throughout people processes, ensuring compliance with company policies, employment legislation and best practice.
- Prepare employee relations documentation, including letters, meeting invitations, outcome letters and reports.
- Attend employee relations meetings as People Team representative and provide guidance to managers within area of expertise.
- Ensure all employee relations cases are accurately recorded and maintained in accordance with GDPR requirements.
- Escalate complex or high\-risk matters to the Head of People and Director of People \& Communications as appropriate.
- Provide practical, consistent and commercially focused advice to managers and team members.
- Build strong relationships across the business and be a trusted point of contact for people\-related enquiries.
- Support managers in creating positive employee experiences and resolving workplace concerns effectively and fairly.
- Maintain up\-to\-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
- Own the matrix of people related policies, ensuring current information is included and managing the review timelines.
- Support the review and continuous improvement of People Team policies, procedures and templates.
- Ensure People Team administration, personnel folders and case management records are accurate and audit ready.
- Contribute to wider People Team projects and initiatives which support employee engagement, wellbeing, retention and performance.
- Support the preparation of people\-related reporting and management information as required.
- Positively and proactively embrace change and suggest improvements for the benefit of team members, the department and the wider business.
- Support the delivery of the People Strategy and Team Rygor culture initiatives.
- Act as a positive ambassador for the business and the People Team.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties appropriate to the role.

- You possess previous experience in an HR Advisor, People Advisor or Employee Relations\-focused role.
- You have good working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- You have experience supporting employee relations casework.
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You have excellent administration and organisational skills.
- You have the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
- You treat all colleagues with fairness, dignity and respect.
- You demonstrate empathy and professionalism when dealing with sensitive situations.
- You communicate clearly, professionally and appropriately at all levels of the business.
- You maintain discretion when handling confidential information.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
