PDI/Final Fitter

NTM\-GB Ltd is a well\-structured and growing company, which develops, manufactures, sells, and maintains Refuse and Recycling Collection Vehicles.

The successful candidate will have some mechanical knowledge ideally from commercial vehicles, plant hire sectors or the body building industry. A willingness to learn and ability to work to time constraints and customers specifications is essential, along with a working knowledge of using power tools, hydraulics, electrics. MIG welding experience is not essential but desirable.

The role will involve

• Refitting bodywork and completing final checks on high quality refuse collection vehicle.


• Supporting sub\-contractors, such as camera, weigh, and livery companies while on site


• Valeting of vehicles after final fit and prior to release to customer


• Completing final vehicle inspections and testing


• Finalising all relevant paperwork and photographing the vehicle prior to leaving for the customer


• To carry out and complete other duties as required in line with the companies needs

The ideal candidate must be able to work in a timely manner to produce finished products in line with build process deadlines. Be able to communicate effectively and highlight any issues with the Production Manager whilst recording any changes in the relevant documentation . Attention to detail and ability to assess levels of quality on vehicles is paramount. Have a working knowledge of power and hand tools is essential. Must understand the importance of Health \& Safety for themselves and those around them and work to continually improve the safety of their environment
