Part Time Warehouse Operative (Picker & Loader)
Our warehouse in Bedford receives stock from all over the world, which we then distribute to our trade customers across the UK. We are currently recruiting for a Picker/ Loader.
These roles will involve order picking and loading duties during the day, packing goods into boxes and cages, and putting stock away into racking locations.
This is a fast\-moving environment, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and speed, as order volumes can be large—particularly on Mondays and Wednesdays.
This work does involve some heavy lifting and requires a willingness to be flexible in the type of work being done. There will at some times be a requirement to book goods in. Some computer literacy an advantage but full training will be given.
We do open on BH Mondays, and it is mandatory to work on these days. Applicants need to consider their ability to travel to us if they rely on public transport.
