MemoryBlock is launching at Whitewater Shopping Centre, Newbridge, and we’re looking for a friendly, confident and creative Part\-Time Sales \& Creative Assistant to join our team.
You’ll be one of the faces of MemoryBlock, helping customers turn their favourite photographs into personalised keepsakes.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and engage customers visiting the kiosk.
- Proactively approach customers and introduce MemoryBlock.
- Explain our products, designs and personalisation options.
- Help customers select photographs from their phones.
- Assist customers with product and design choices.
- Process sales and customer orders accurately.
- Support the production of personalised MemoryBlocks following training.
- Check finished products before handing them to customers.
- Maintain an attractive, clean and organised kiosk.
- Replenish products and packaging when required.
- Support daily opening and closing activities.
- Help maintain product displays and promotional materials.
- Support the Kiosk Manager in achieving daily and weekly sales targets.
- Capture appropriate social\-media content with customer consent.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service at all times.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, outgoing and confident speaking to people.
- Comfortable approaching customers rather than waiting for them to come to you.
- Positive and energetic.
- Customer\-focused.
- Interested in sales and achieving targets.
- Creative and enjoys photography/design.
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets and basic computer systems.
- Reliable and punctual.
- A good team player.
- Comfortable working independently when required.
- Available to work weekends and flexible retail hours.
Previous retail, sales or customer\-service experience is preferred but not essential.
We will provide training.
Experience with Photoshop, Canva, photography or social media would be an advantage.
This aligns closely with MemoryBlock’s existing Sales Assistant roles, which specifically highlight communication, customer engagement, basic computer skills, creativity, sales/customer\-service experience and willingness to learn.
Pay: €14\.50 per hour
