Part-Time Sales Assistant – Mobility & Healthcare

We Do Mobility is an independent mobility and healthcare retailer supporting people to live safely, comfortably and independently. We pride ourselves on friendly, honest advice, local service and long\-term customer care — not pressure selling.
We are looking for a part\-time Sales Assistant with a caring nature, strong people skills and the initiative to get things done when it’s quiet.
The Role
This is a varied, people\-focused role combining in\-store sales, customer support and light admin. You’ll be speaking to customers and families every day, helping them find the right solutions for their needs.
Key Responsibilities
- In\-store sales and customer support
- Answering incoming calls and responding to enquiries
- Dealing with questions, queries and after\-sales support
- Scheduling deliveries, services and assessments
- Outreach to local businesses, care providers and community groups
- Using EPOS, databases and basic admin systems
- Keeping the showroom tidy, welcoming and well organised
- Finding productive tasks during quieter periods (initiative is key)
You will ideally have:
- A caring, empathetic nature and genuine interest in helping people
- Experience in care, healthcare, mobility, or retail (preferred but not essential)
- A friendly, chatty and approachable personality
- Confidence speaking to new people and strong listening skills
- Good problem\-solving ability and common sense
- A can\-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Good computer skills (Excel, databases, EPOS, social media)
- The ability to use your initiative and manage your own time
- A full UK driving licence
Full product and systems training will be provided. You’ll be supported to develop your knowledge and confidence in the mobility and care sector over time.
Hours \& Pay
- Part\-time: 5 days a week (flexible days), 10am–4pm
- 30\-minute unpaid lunch break
- £12\.71 per hour
