Part-Time Project Administrator/Business Support
The opportunity…
As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a highly organised and commercially aware Project Administrator to join our team.
This is a varied role supporting our project and business operations. Working closely with our Project Planner and Senior Leadership Team, you’ll help keep projects organised, monitor budgets and time, support client invoicing and ensure our project information and reporting remain accurate and up to date.
We offer 20–30 hours per week across 3–4 days, with Monday, Wednesday and Friday forming part of the regular working pattern. We can offer flexibility around start and finish times, making the role suitable for someone looking to work around school hours or other commitments.
What you’ll be doing…
· Supporting client onboarding and general project administration.
· Keeping project trackers, schedules and reporting information up to date.
· Monitoring project budgets and highlighting discrepancies, risks or potential overspend.
· Reviewing consultant time bookings for accuracy and correct project allocation.
· Preparing client invoices in line with project milestones and agreements.
· Producing project and financial information to support management reporting.
· Tracking project change requests and ensuring records, budgets and schedules are updated.
· Helping improve internal processes, reporting and ways of working.
We’re looking for someone who is…
· Experienced in a business support, commercial administration, project support or financial administration role.
· Familiar with project financial reporting, budget controls and invoicing processes, with an understanding of how project overruns can impact commercial performance.
· Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail.
· Comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets and financial information.
· Confident using Microsoft applications, particularly Excel.
· Able to prioritise effectively and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
· Professional and friendly communicator, both written and verbal.
· Reliable, consistent and comfortable working independently, while also working collaboratively as part of a team.
