Part time Clinic Assistant
Clinical Administrator/Part time role only.
We are looking for a friendly, professional and highly organised Clinical Administrator / Receptionist to join our team at Ultrasound Plus. This a patient\-facing role requiring excellent communication and customer service skills. You will be an important first point of contact for our patients, helping to ensure they receive a welcoming, efficient and professional experience from their initial enquiry through to their clinic appointment.
Responsibilities
\* Handling incoming telephone calls in a professional and friendly manner
\* Responding to patient enquiries by telephone, email and other communication channels
\* Providing patients with clear information regarding our ultrasound services and appointments
\* Carrying out general reception and administrative duties
\* Welcoming patients and managing the front desk during clinic sessions
\* Checking patients in and ensuring the reception and waiting areas run smoothly
\* Supporting sonographers and other clinical staff during busy clinic sessions
\* Taking payments and completing associated administrative tasks where required
\* Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
\* Helping to ensure clinics run efficiently and on time
\* Dealing professionally and sensitively with patient queries or concerns
\* Carrying out regular stock takes and maintaining accurate stock records
\* Monitoring levels of clinical and general consumables and identifying items that need to be reordered
\* Ensuring clinic rooms and reception areas are appropriately stocked and prepared for clinic sessions
\* Following company procedures relating to patient confidentiality, data protection and clinical administration
Working Hours for the role will include regular Wednesday, Friday and Saturday weekday and evening shifts, as a key responsibility will be running the reception/front desk during our day and evening ultrasound clinic sessions.
Applicants should therefore have the flexibility to work days and evenings as part of their working pattern. Additional daytime and/or weekend hours may also be available depending on clinic requirements.
About You, we are looking for someone who is:

\* Professional and well presented
\* An excellent communicator, both on the telephone and face\-to\-face
\* Organised, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks
\* Comfortable working independently when running reception during evening clinics
\* Confident using computers, booking systems and email
\* Calm and professional when dealing with busy clinics or sensitive patient enquiries
\* Able to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
\* Proactive and able to identify when stock or supplies need replenishing
\* Flexible regarding working hours, particularly evenings
Previous experience in healthcare, medical administration, reception, customer service or a similar patient\-facing role would be advantageous, although training can be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: £12\.71\-£13\.50 per hour
