About Us

Reggie’s Pride is a family\-run raw dog food manufacturer based in Barry, South Wales. We supply independent pet retailers across the UK and operate within a fast\-paced chilled and frozen food manufacturing environment.

We are a small but ambitious business with a close\-knit team of five staff, all with their own individual roles and responsibilities. We are now looking for an Operations Manager who can help pull everything together, maintain high standards, improve organisation and support the next stage of growth within the company.

This role would suit someone who naturally leads from the front. Someone who is organised, driven, hands\-on and not afraid to get stuck in when needed.

We are not looking for somebody who simply delegates from a desk. We want somebody who genuinely connects with the team, sets the tone on standards and work ethic, and takes pride in helping build something long term.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be Able To:

• Lead and motivate staff while maintaining a positive working culture.


• Coordinate production, dispatch and operational workflow.


• Maintain high standards across cleanliness, organisation, production and health \& safety.


• Understand machinery, production processes and factory flow.


• Use computers and operational systems confidently.


• Draft professional emails and communicate clearly with customers and suppliers.


• Assist with logistical planning and problem solving.


• Work closely alongside the Managing Director on day\-to\-day operations and future growth.


• Stay calm under pressure and make decisions quickly when required.


• Lead by example and not be afraid to get their hands dirty when the business needs it.

We are looking for somebody who wants to go all in, become part of the team and take genuine ownership within the role.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £50,000\.00\-£60,000\.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

Education:

• Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

• Food hygiene: 3 years (preferred)


• managing chilled/frozen or perishable goods operations: 5 years (required)

Language:

• English (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Forklift Licence (required)

Work authorisation:

• United Kingdom (required)
