We’re looking for an Operations Manager to come join us, based at Runcorn. In this role you will lead the MediPAC operation, providing visible and inspirational leadership to deliver safe, high\-quality and compliant patient services through operational excellence, effective governance and strong people leadership. You will be accountable for overall operational performance, service delivery, financial management, workforce planning, colleague development and continuous improvement.

The heart of the role

• Lead, coach and develop a high\-performing operational team, creating a culture of accountability, engagement and continuous improvement.


• Deliver operational, quality, productivity, patient safety and financial targets while ensuring excellent service delivery.


• Use operational data and performance insight to drive decision\-making, efficiency and continuous improvement.


• Maintain full compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, SOPs and Health \& Safety standards.


• Manage operational budgets, labour utilisation and expenditure, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.


• Drive operational improvement programmes, digital transformation initiatives and technology\-enabled enhancements.

• Proven operational leadership experience within a regulated environment.


• Demonstrable success delivering productivity, service and financial KPIs.


• Understanding of GPhC regulatory requirements and Health \& Safety management.


• Strong leadership, coaching and people development capabilities.


• Excellent communication, planning, analytical and problem\-solving skills.


• Commercial awareness and the ability to make data\-driven decisions.


• Experience within centralised dispensing, pharmacy, healthcare services, automated fulfilment operations or transformation programmes would be advantageous.


• Lean, Six Sigma, project management or healthcare\-related qualifications are desirable.
