About the role

Grinds360 is looking for an Operations Manager to look after our Live Events \& Print, this candidate will take ownership of our in\-person workshops and manage our books printing and distribution. The successful candidate will own the logistics behind every in\-person class, from booking the venue and preparing teachers to setting up the live stream and getting notes into students' hands.

The successful candidate will also lead the planning, printing and distribution of Grinds360 books.

This is a hands\-on role for someone who thrives on the day, stays calm under pressure and uses data to make each event better than the last.

Key responsibilitiesIn\-person workshops

  • Manage all in\-person workshops held throughout the country, from planning to delivery on the day.

  • Support the timetabling and scheduling of in\-person revision classes and masterclasses.

  • Communicate with teachers in advance of each workshop so they are fully prepared.

  • Take responsibility for the set\-up and live streaming of all in\-person classes.
Venues
  • Book venues for in\-person workshops.

  • Explore and secure opportunities for new venues as the programme grows.
Notes and books
  • Organise, print and distribute all notes for in\-person workshops.

  • Lead the organisation, coordination and planning of book printing and distribution.
Data and insight
  • Collate and analyse data from workshops to support strategic decision\-making.
Essential requirements
  • Full, clean driving licence

  • Fluent English, written and spoken

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends when workshops run
Desirable
  • Knowledge of the Irish education system, including the Junior and Leaving Certificate cycles

  • Problem solver: the successful candidate finds a fix quickly when a venue, stream or delivery doesn't go to plan.

  • Good with people: the successful candidate builds strong relationships with teachers, venues, suppliers and students.

  • Strong work ethic: the successful candidate takes ownership and sees every event through from start to finish.

  • Calm under pressure: the successful candidate performs well in live, time\-critical situations.

  • Highly organised: the successful candidate juggles multiple events, deadlines and print runs without dropping details.
