Operations Controller (Courier & Logistics)

Priority Express is a leading, award\-winning courier firm offering a full range of same day, overnight \& international delivery services. We are also members of the award\-winning APC Overnight delivery network, with 115 depots across the United Kingdom.

Due to continued expansion, we currently have an excellent opportunity for an Operations Controller, to assist with day\-to\-day operations at our Bristol depot. You will be a strong individual who will effectively direct, manage and control all aspects of our same day and dedicated services division to ensure revenue, profit and service levels are met or exceeded.

The Role

• Maintain the most efficient and cost effective utilisation of resources.


• Operate to high standards of service at all times


• Manage the on\-going KPI performance of your team


• Identify areas for improvement and agree appropriate action plans


• Focussed on the same day \& special services division


• Reporting directly to the Depot Manager

Candidate Requirements

• The ability to achieve the highest standards possible


• Committed to continuous improvement


• Relevant management experience in the parcels industry


• A process and systems driven outlook with strong administration skills


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels


• Computer literate with a strong understanding of IT \& mobile data.
