We are looking for someone with or without Haematology or Oncology experience who wants to work within this rewarding environment.

We are looking for 2 nurses with previous experience in an acute setting in an NHS hospital, to join out team here at Salisbury Hospital.

We are a 10 bedded ward and we care for patients with a wide range of solid tumour and haematology disorders, we administer Systemic Anti Cancer Treatment and supportive Therapies.

This post will be working to support the existing team in the safe delivery of holistic care to a wide range of cancer patients undergoing treatments.

The successful candidate will be a registered nurse with an enthusiasm to care for oncology/haematology patients and willing to undertake their SACT training.

The applicant should have excellent communication skills.

SACT training will be given as well as venepuncture and care of central venous access devices if not previously undertaken.

The successful candidate will be flexible to meet the increasingly complex needs of the service and be able to work effectively within a small team.
