About the Role:
As our Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth day\-to\-day running of the nursery and help support our community\-based activities. You’ll be a key figure in supporting both the care and education of our children, and in developing a motivated, high\-performing team.

- Support the Nursery Manager in all operational aspects of running the nursery
- Take the lead in the absence of the Manager
- Ensure all OFSTED and statutory requirements are met
- Drive and maintain high occupancy levels through effective parent engagement and supporting with marketing strategies
- Support and mentor staff, helping them grow through on\-the\-job guidance and formal training
- Support in the running of community events
- Conduct regular staff supervisions and performance reviews
- Work directly with children, modelling outstanding practice and forming secure relationships
- Contribute to curriculum planning and the delivery of engaging, high\-quality early years education
- Ensure all safeguarding, health and safety, and compliance standards are consistently met
- Foster strong partnerships with parents and the wider community
- Help create a warm, welcoming environment where children, families and staff thrive
- Friendly, kind, empathic, passionate about Early Years
- Level 3 or above in Early Years Education (or equivalent) – essential
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a nursery setting
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and health and safety
- A team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Passionate about delivering outstanding care and education
- Confident in supporting, mentoring and inspiring staff
Pay: £33,280\.00\-£35,360\.00 per year
Licence/Certification:
- UK Level 3 or above in Early Years Education (required)
