We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (Non\-Medical Prescriber) to join our dedicated West Lancashire CYPMH Team within Specialist Services.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated mental health professional to play a key role in delivering high\-quality, evidence\-based care to children and young people experiencing complex mental health difficulties, including ADHD and emotional distress.

Working within a supportive multi\-disciplinary team, you will provide specialist assessments, therapeutic interventions, clinical leadership and independent prescribing support while helping shape and develop services for children, young people and families across West Lancashire.

As a Band 7 Nurse Practitioner, you will:

Manage a specialist caseload of children and young people with complex mental health needs

Undertake comprehensive assessments, risk assessments and care planning

Deliver evidence\-based therapeutic interventions in line with NICE guidance

Act as an Independent Non\-Medical Prescriber within CYP services

Provide leadership, consultation and clinical support to the wider team

Work collaboratively with families, schools, social care, GPs and partner agencies

Contribute to safeguarding, clinical governance, service development and quality improvement initiatives

Support ADHD pathways and integrated working across CYPMH and wider services
