Night Care Assistant
2 Female Care Assistant required to work 20 hours a minimum of 2 nights a week 9pm to 7am in an all female residential care home, preferred candidate to be over 21 and female. 4 week set rota system, Nights to be worked are Position 1 wk1 Monday \& Wednesday, wk2 Friday \& Saturday, wk3 Wednesday \& Sunday, wk4 Tuesday \& Wednesday. Position 2 wk1 Wednesday \& Thursday, Wk2 Monday \& Tuesday, Wk 3 Friday \& Saturday and Wk4 Wednesday \& Saturday. Overtime available for holiday cover and sickness or if available for day shifts. Duties to include personal care of residents during the night including toileting, ironing and laundry, light cleaning duties, completing necessary paperwork and serving breakfast. Strong communication, numeracy, and IT skills will be essential in documenting care due to digital care records and interacting effectively with both residents and the care team. Previous experience in the care sector is essential and NVQ2 in care preferred but not essential as training will be given. The successful candidate will need to provide a clean DBS check via application through the home and hold basic numeracy/literacy skills. Pay increases for weekend work, experience, length of service, qualifications and bank holidays. This position is not available for sponsorship.
Pay: £12\.86\-£13\.51 per hour
