Duty Manager

Healds Hall Hotel, Leeds Road, Liversedge, West Yorkshire

We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and hands\-on Duty Manager to join the team at Healds Hall.

Healds Hall is an independent hotel, restaurant and bar with a strong local following. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, takes pride in great service and wants to play an important part in the day\-to\-day running of the business.

This is very much a hands\-on role. You will be visible on the floor, leading by example and working alongside the team to make sure our guests receive a warm welcome and consistently excellent service.

The role

Working with our management team, you will help oversee the day\-to\-day operation of the hotel, restaurant and bar. Your responsibilities will include:

\* Leading restaurant and bar services

\* Supervising and motivating the front\-of\-house team

\* Making sure guests receive excellent, friendly and efficient service

\* Helping train and develop members of the team

\* Organising staff and sections during busy services

\* Dealing confidently and professionally with customer enquiries

\* Maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness

\* Opening and closing the business when required

\* Helping management continually improve the guest experience

Who we’re looking for

You might already be working as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or Restaurant Manager.

Equally, we’d be very interested in hearing from an excellent Restaurant Supervisor, Bar Supervisor or Team Leader who is ready to take the next step into management.

Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is important, but attitude, personality and the ability to lead people are just as important to us as job titles.

Salary: £30k

Hours: 5 shifts through the week \- 40 hours.
