MULTI\-DROP DELIVERY DRIVER (Class 1\)
LOCATION: Leyland, Lancashire
SALARY: £157\.30 per day
HOURS OF WORK: Monday to Friday, 4\.00am – 1\.00pm (with flexibility), with occasional weekends (paid at overtime rate)

We're looking for a reliable and customer\-focused Class C1 Driver to join our Operations team based in Leyland.
As the face of Micronclean on the road, you'll play a vital role in delivering and collecting garments, consumables, mats and roller towels from our customers across the region. This is a physically active role that requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent customer service and the ability to work independently while maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily vehicle safety and defect checks before commencing your route.
- Load and unload garments, consumables, mats and roller towels safely and efficiently.
- Use handheld PDA equipment where required to accurately record deliveries and collections.
- Deliver products to customer sites and collect items in accordance with planned schedules.
- Maintain accurate route records and complete all associated delivery documentation.
- Ensure company vehicles are kept clean, presentable and roadworthy.
- Follow all road transport regulations, company policies and health and safety procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Manage delivery schedules effectively to ensure customer expectations are met.
- Support operational requirements through flexible working and occasional weekend overtime where required.
- Demonstrate Micronclean's SKIEs values in all aspects of the role.
Essential
- Class C1 (7\.5 tonne) Driving Licence (Manual).
- Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC).
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and transport legislation.
- Excellent reliability and time management skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Good spoken English.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative.
- Physically capable of meeting the manual handling requirements of the role.
- Previous multi\-drop delivery experience.
- Experience using handheld PDA devices.
- Experience working within service delivery or logistics environments.
