We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Department Manager to manage and develop our Electrical Department at our 40\-acre Main Sales Yard in Leyland.
The Role
You will take responsibility for the day\-to\-day running of the department, leading the team, looking after customers, and identifying opportunities to develop sales and our electrical product offering.
Key duties include:
- Managing the Electrical Department Team
- Providing excellent customer service and product advice
- Building relationships with existing and new customers
- Developing sales and identifying opportunities for growth
- Working closely with suppliers, negotiating terms, setting margins and ensuring competitiveness
- Managing product ranges and stock levels.
- Merchandising and promoting new products
- Ensuring the department operates efficiently, commercially and to a high standard
Ideally, you will have:
- Electrical trade, wholesale, or merchant experience
- Extensive electrical product knowledge
- Previous management or supervisory experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Commercial awareness and a desire to grow sales
- A positive, hands\-on, can\-do attitude
- Good organisational and team leadership skills

Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 17:00
Friday: 07:30 – 16:00
Saturday: 08:00 – 12:00
