TSL Scotland is seeking an experienced Mobile Transport Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The primary focus will be on Commercial Vehicle Refrigeration systems and related ancillary equipment.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

\- Proven track record in Transport Refrigeration and Air Conditioning repair and maintenance.

\- Keen interest in learning about ancillary equipment maintenance and repair.

\- Experience in diagnosing and repairing faults.

\- Strong focus on customer care with excellent communication skills.

\- Proactive attitude and ability to complete essential paperwork.

\- Positive mindset, able to work effectively both in a team and independently in a fast\-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

\- Minimum of 4 years of industry experience.

\- F\-Gas registered.

\- Skilled in all aspects of Vehicle Refrigeration and Air Conditioning servicing and maintenance.

\- Excellent problem\-solving skills.

\- Demonstrated commitment to customer care with strong communication skills.

\- Full UK Driving Licence

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of refrigeration systems in accordance with industry standards and company protocols

  • Carry out efficient fault finding for breakdown attendance.

  • Perform inspections and testing of electrical equipment and components to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs, using computerised maintenance management systems.

  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to colleagues and clients as needed, including participating in training sessions and workshops.

  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with technical specifications and safety guidelines.

  • Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team to coordinate work schedules, prioritise tasks, and ensure timely completion of projects.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
