Mobile Catering Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Mobile Catering Manager to oversee our mobile food services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of catering operations on the move, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and a passion for culinary excellence. The Mobile Catering Manager will lead only themselves, coordinate food preparation and service, and ensure smooth operation across various locations.

Responsibilities

• Driving the Catering Van to different locations


• Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.


• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all catering activities


• Coordinate logistics for food production, transportation, and setup at different locations


• Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to support operations


• Deliver excellent customer service by engaging with clients and addressing any concerns promptly


• Lead by example in maintaining a professional, organised, and positive work environment


• Assist in menu planning and development to meet client preferences and dietary requirements


• Monitor health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all staff

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality management; restaurant or hotel experience is highly desirable


• Clean Driving licence. The Vehicle is Automatic.


• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations


• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple locations efficiently


• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team


• Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or culinary roles such as barista experience is advantageous


• Good communication skills and a customer\-focused approach


• Level 2 Food Hygenie.


• Basic DBS check
