As part of our continued growth and investment, we are seeking an ambitious and highly analytical professional to join our team in a pivotal operational role.
Role Purpose:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance \& Administration Assistant will provide support across finance and administrative functions. The role involves processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, liaising with suppliers, and ensuring smooth day\-to\-day office operations. The position also supports key operational team members and contributes to the efficient running of the business.

Key Responsibilities
Purchase Ledger \& Stock Control
· Assist in the creation and processing of purchase orders and placement of supplier orders
· Maintain and monitor the purchase order ledger, ensuring all orders are correctly authorised
· Support stock control processes across the business, including:
o Maintaining 3rd party stock
o Reconciling stock levels to financial accounts
o Ensuring accurate stock valuation
Purchase Invoice Processing
· Monitor the supplier invoices mailbox and match invoices to purchase orders
· Process and post supplier invoices onto the accounting system accurately
· Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner
· Liaise with head office to reconcile intercompany transactions
Credit Cards \& Expenses
· Assist with company credit card processing and expense management systems
· Support monthly reconciliation, approvals, and issue resolution
· Ensure accurate posting of expenses into the accounting system
Logistics Administration
· Take responsibility for managing and filing import and export documentation
· Reconcile logistics documentation with month\-end postponed VAT reports
· Work closely with the logistics team to resolve missing or incomplete paperwork
General Administration
· Provide administrative support to senior management and operational teams
· Maintain accurate records and update centralised KPI tracking spreadsheets
· Assist with reception duties during busy periods or staff absence
Finance \& Accounting Development
Opportunity to expand responsibilities into broader finance tasks, including:
· Fixed asset management
· Bank processing and reconciliations
· Supplier payment runs
· Cashflow support
· Accruals and prepayments
· Month\-end procedures
· Payroll assistance
· Financial reporting
Skills \& Experience (Desirable)
· Experience in general administration and/or finance processes
· AAT Level 2 qualification (or equivalent)
· Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
· Experience with accounting systems such as SAP or Sage 50 (advantageous)
· High level of accuracy and data entry skills

· Clear and concise written and verbal communication
· Ability to effectively communicate financial information to colleagues and external contacts

Pay: £28,000\.00\-£30,000\.00 per year
