We are seeking a Mobile Air Conditioning / Electrical Engineer to deliver planned, proactive and reactive maintenance across commercial environments, ensuring full compliance with Health \& Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, F\-Gas, Low Voltage Safe Systems of Work and COSHH.
Job Description
We are looking for a self\-sufficient engineer who can complete air conditioning works independently, support first\-line electrical and switchgear reactive maintenance, and consistently exceed customer expectations while meeting agreed service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Health \& Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, F\-Gas, LV Safe Systems of Work and COSHH
- Undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued via the helpdesk within relevant SLAs
- Carry out the majority of duties on air conditioning systems, with first\-line reactive electrical and switchgear maintenance
- Participate in a minimum 1 in 4 out\-of\-hours call\-out rota as required by the client
- Complete occasional planned night works in line with the PPM schedule
- Undertake contractor control duties, including monitoring workmanship and issuing Permits to Work
- Ensure equipment operates to specified performance criteria at all times
- Maintain equipment and surrounding areas in line with agreed company standards
- City \& Guilds 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants or CITB J11 equivalent
- NVQ Level 2/3 or City \& Guilds in Commercial Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Proven experience completing air conditioning work alone across different commercial environments
- Electrical works experience is desirable
- Willingness to travel as part of the role
