Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, service, maintain, and repair a wide range of fire and security systems including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems on a variety of client sites spanning commercial buildings, residential properties, and public venues.


• Conduct thorough fault diagnosis and troubleshooting to identify system malfunctions and apply effective repair solutions with minimal downtime.


• Deliver ongoing technical support and expert advice to clients and end\-users, ensuring their fire and security systems operate reliably and meet all regulatory standards.


• Manage and work on prestigious and high\-profile client sites, maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and professionalism.


• Maintain detailed and accurate electronic and paper\-based records of all service visits, installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks performed.


• Ensure strict adherence to all health \& safety legislation, industry codes of practice, and client\-specific policies, contributing to a safe working environment for yourself and all stakeholders.

Skills and Experience Requirements:

• Valid full UK driving licence or equivalent (Essential as you will be required to travel to multiple client sites.


• Proven extensive experience working as a Fire \& Security Engineer with hands\-on technical knowledge in the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.


• Comprehensive knowledge of fire and security system installation methods, equipment, tools, and associated wiring standards.


• Good understanding of relevant British Standards (e.g., BS 5839 for fire alarms, BS 8243 for intruder alarms) and health \& safety regulations.


• Experience working with a diverse range of manufacturers’ equipment and systems, demonstrating versatility and adaptability.


• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface professionally with clients, site managers, and team members.


• Customer\-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction.


• Able to work independently with minimal supervision, but also a dependable team player willing to collaborate when needed.


• Flexibility to adapt working hours occasionally to meet client demands and project schedules.
