Midwife - Fetal Medicine Specialist and Antenatal clinic
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Stoke Mandeville Hospital as a Band 6 Fetal Medicine and Antenatal Clinic Midwife.
The post holder will be a midwife with previous experience working in UK and will provide high\-quality, compassionate midwifery care within both the Fetal Medicine service and Antenatal Clinic, contributing to the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of maternity care.

Based within the Antenatal Clinic and Fetal Medicine service, the post holder will provide high\-quality, woman\-centred care across a range of antenatal pathways, including support for women with complex pregnancies and those undergoing screening and diagnostic investigations. The role involves working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective, and coordinated care, while promoting a positive patient experience.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the post holder will support the care of women/birthing people across a range of antenatal pathways, including those with complex pregnancies and those undergoing screening and diagnostic investigations. The role involves providing specialist support, including sensitive counselling in the presence of fetal abnormality, as well as supporting women considering antenatal screening and diagnostic testing and providing ongoing care following results.
The successful candidate will be a proactive and resilient practitioner, able to manage the varied demands of the role while ensuring a high standard of woman\-centred care and a positive patient experience.
