Mechanical Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative engineering team. The successful applicant will work within our Engineering Maintenance department and become a key member of our multi\-disciplined team. You will conduct a range of preventative, reactive and improvement engineering tasks across the whole business whilst also ensuring a safe working environment and high\-quality workmanship.

· City \& Guilds NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

· Systematic and methodical approach to problem solving

· Good team worker with good communication skills

· Ability to work in a team and independently

· Risk assessment completion

· Use of predictive maintenance technologies

· Mechanical knowledge such as being able to identify motors and bearings

· Safe working and lone working

· Familiar with industrial plant

· Identify root cause of equipment failure

· Executing fast and efficient repairs to minimise production downtime

· Completing preventative maintenance tasks

You will work 7:00\-16:00 Monday to Friday and overtime is sometimes available.

Pay: £39,271\.00\-£41,155\.00 per year
