Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled FM Mechanical Engineers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving Mechanical systems across our facilities. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, applying your technical expertise to ensure operational efficiency and safety. The ideal applicant will possess strong electrical experience, proficiency with hand and power tools, and a proactive approach to problem\-solving.

Duties

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems and equipment

  • Install, repair, and upgrade mechanical components in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations

  • Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various maintenance tasks

  • Collaborate with other engineering teams to optimise system performance

  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications accurately

  • Assist in the development of maintenance schedules and procedures to minimise downtime

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies at all times during operations
Experience
  • Proven Mechanical experience within an industrial or facilities management environment

  • Hands\-on experience with Mechanical systems installation, troubleshooting, and repair

  • Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools in a professional setting

  • Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations

  • Previous experience working in a team\-oriented environment is desirable but not essential

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals effectively

  • BOAS and Steam, would be advantageous but not Essential

  • Pipework and pump knowledge is Essential

Pay: £45,000\.00\-£55,000\.00 per year
